I bought this feeder approximately 2 years ago, but have used it only a total of 30 days intermittently when on vacation. After the fourth vacation, it no longer worked, subjecting the cat to 2 days of no food. I now have an expensive pet bowl with a still working clock, but unfortunately the cat still hasn't learned how to tell time.

Please remove the batteries and the tray. Press and hold the manual feed button on the keypad for about 10 seconds. Release, leave the tray out, put the batteries back in. Press the manual feed button again and see if there is anything jamming the gears, or if they are turning correctly.
