Best Use Tips

  • You don't need to charge the collar every day. Only charge your collar when the battery is low. The low battery indicator will flash red/green or red when the battery is low. Each charge can last 10-14 days.
  • Take off the collar when your pet is inside the house. Because of indoor interference, letting your pet wear the collar indoors can cause an accidental correction.

System Includes

  • Transmitter with mounting bracket, hardware and power adapter
  • Waterproof receiver with adjustable collar fits pets over 15 pounds
  • Boundary programming unit
  • Receiver charger charges 2 collars at once in 2-3 hours (don't charge every day)
  • Receiver mounting bracket and handle
  • Operating and training guide
  • 130 training flags
  • Test light tool
  • Short and long contact points for short or long-haired pets

This should not be on the market. Recall, 7/16/13

This product sounds like it is a dream come true. But like most things that sound to good to be true. This one is just like that. It is constantly losing the receiver and shocks my dog. There was not any obstructions in the area that could have been blocking the signal preventing the two devices from communicating properly. For spending the extra to get the quality system sure did not pay off. Instead it seems that I ended up with a second rate product that I was fortunate enough to spend shipping on.THIS SHOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE, PLEASE RECALL.

Very happy with install training going well but static is not present until level 4, 6/10/13

Happy to get one of the first available! I have been waiting patiently for this to be available to train my 6 month Chabrador (55lbs). Setup went well had one issue in my front yard where I was getting correction in the middle of the yard. Shortened the area closer to the house and worked fine. Impressed with the boundary line being right on the money. I kept all flags 3 ft apart, which may have made it perform so well. The setup was so easy and the instructions were very easy to follow. When I read them before getting the unit I was a little confused but the programming unit made it very easy to understand and idiot proof in my opinion. Yogi has no problem with the collar and does not resist at all when I put it on him. We started out with me correcting him as he crossed into the warning zone as it did not appear that he cared at all about the sound warning. I think he understood what I was helping him connect the sound and my rewarding him for coming back in with just a slight correction tug on the leash.
When we got to day two he acted the same with no reaction to level one at all. I tightened up the collar thinking it may be too loose, but still no reaction at all. I took the collar and put on my hand to feel the static correction my self and could not feel it. Used the light test since I could not hear the audible warning and it was showing the correction was being transmitted. I had to move it to level 4 before I could feel the correction. What I felt is what I would have thought level one would be. Yogi did react to level four with a shake of his head but did not connect to return to the safe area, I had to tug the leash. He clearly knows now that this correction tells him to return. However, he did go right through it with what appear to be three corrections before he got beyond the warning zone. I had to retrieve him and take off the collar back into the yard. I'm sure this level is perfect as he is not afraid to train or be in the yard. Previous dog with one level wired fence was very afraid for about three weeks at the pop was much stronger. I'm feeling level 6 will no doubt turn him back when we get to that level if he still has any doubt.
I'm wondering though if the receiver is working correctly at level two and three since I can not feel it on my bare hand?
I rate this a five because of ease of setup, Yogi's willingness to train without issue, and very consistent boundary lines, which I think long tern will prove very effective.
I am recommending it to my friends and family for sure. Thanks Petsafe and if you think mine may need to be adjusted please let me know.

recall and test product before selling any more., 6/9/13

After months of waiting for this product to become available I finally received it on a Friday. I spent all day Sunday reading and understanding how it works. I set all the boundaries up, And on the fourth try programing the unit It finally saved the boundaries. My 7 year old chocolate lab has lived with invisible fencing his hole life so you could say he is a veteran of this. My underground wire has been disabled for a few months now. This is why I wanted this product. At first sight he understood the fencing flags. As I said it took me a few hours of trying to program the boundaries. Once programmed, The system worked as it said. But as soon as my dog started to run around inside the boundary, The system seemed to misplace the receiver and shocked him randomly. The system continued to shock him randomly unless he was walking calmly inside the boundary. As soon as he started to run inside or approached the warning area at anything but a slow pace Rusty would get shocked leaving him confused. So after a day messing with this system trying to avoid reburying wire for the old system, The new system has been packed back up and being shipped back in the morning.
I just want to say I have never written a review for anything in my life. Given the price for this system I felt it was needed. The premise for this system is great but in reality it needs some more research and work.
