The UltraSmart® In-Ground Fence™ lets you give you dog more freedom and playtime in the yard without worrying about their safety. Here’s how it works. The collar picks up a signal from a transmitter as your dog nears the boundary wires. A beep alerts your dog, and most dogs do so well with training that they stop right there. For those that continue, a harmless static correction reminds them to stay in the area you’ve established.
Advanced safety features include the built-in surge protector and 24/7 battery backup to make sure your system is working, even if the electricity fails. ReadyTest® and PerfectFit® Test indicate system and battery status, so you’ll know everything is functioning correctly.
The UltraSmart® Receiver Collar is also compatible with PetSafe® Pawz Away® Indoor and Outdoor Pet Barriers. Put a Pawz Away® Barrier near anything you want your pet to avoid inside or out. Installing the system and burying wires in your yard is easily done in a weekend. Three 10-minute training sessions with your pet every day have them playing happily in the yard in about 2 weeks. Step-by-step training instructions are included with the system. Cover up to 1/3 of an acre with included boundary wire and flags and up to 25 acres with additional wire. The system works great for multiple dogs with the purchase of additional UltraSmart receiver collars.
