Test light for most PetSafe remote trainer, bark, and fencing receiver collars with static correction. Included in many kits, this tool is also designed as a wrench to tighten contact points and has a tab to easily remove most batteries and battery covers.

The Test Light Tool is used to tell if your collar is working properly. Hold the tool against the contact points and activate the collar. For a remote trainer, activate the correction using the transmitter. For a fence, move the collar near the boundary, holding the collar at your dog's neck height. The tool will light up if the collar is activating.

works great, 5/6/14
The tester worked great and allowed me to test the range of the pet fence I had set up for my yard. I didn't have to guess if my dog would need a level 3, or 9. I ended up with between a 6 and 7 for a good range and my dog learned it very quickly. I had no trouble with the tester contacts, as the opening allowed a lot of room for connection. However I did have to get the collar down to the dogs neck height to accurately set up my transmitter. Thanks for the wonderful product.

No solid connection for tester, 12/28/13
The combination tester tool does not make a solid connection with the probes. It slides around touching them and then not. I have tried to buy them at a Radio Shack with no luck. Sometimes you can't improve on something that works. Could I get sent a few of the originals please?

PETSAFE RESPONSE: We apologize that the Test Light Tool design has failed to meet your expectations. The 2 oval-shaped pockets in the tool should allow enough room for your contact probes to touch the wire, and a make a consistent connection. We would be happy to assist you find a solution in replacing your Test Light Tool! Please call our Customer Care Center at 1-800-732-2677.
