Collar worked perfectly for my wandering dog for three+ years and now it either doesn't work out side or shocks him while in the house well within his boundary. Moved the box around but got same results. The collar is really expensive don't know if it's worth getting a new one or not.

Please be aware that we do not recommend that pets wear the receiver collars within the home. The large amounts of appliances and other metal objects within homes can cause large amounts of interference, which in turn can cause the receiver collars to lose the signal from the transmitter and activate. In addition, please ensure that your transmitter is at least 5-10' away from any metal objects or appliances. Collar worked great for past 3-4 years with both dogs we had however, at the end of last year, the collar kept shocking my dog even when she was well within the boundaries. Looking for a replacement but the cost of the replacement collar seems pretty expensive.

Please ensure that your transmitter is at least 5' away from all metal objects or appliances. These can cause interference in the signal and cause the receiver collar to lose contact with the transmitter and activate inside the boundary. If the receiver collar continues to have issues, please give our Customer Care Center a call at the number 1-866-738-4379. We would be happy to try and diagnose the issue further and, if troubleshooting fails and a replacement is needed, we do have replacement options available even outside of the one-year warranty period. This collar worked awesome for about 4 years. We have two collars and neither one works now. Our dog is now having issues because the collar was beeping (don't know if it was shocking him or not) when we were gone. We want to get new ones but they are so expensive!

We purchased this system for our German Shepherd and it works great. We have a large yard in the country but wanted to keep her safe from neighborhood traffic and to keep her from chasing the occasional rabbit into the neighbors cattle fields. She quickly learned the system and seldom ever challenges it; the audible warning is enough of reminder for her to retreat back into the safe zone.

This has been an excellent product! We live on a busy road in the country and it has managed to detain a 120 pound bloodhound for almost 2 years! He knows exactly what that beeps means and doesn't test it too often! It's also perfectly waterproof as he goes swimming in the pond with it on!

We have had this systems for about two years now. And we have replaced the collar twice already, and just two days ago our neighbor informs us that our dog is across the road, we checked the collar, and once again it's not working. So now we are having to bring our dogs out on their leashes, until we figure out what is going on with the collar. It's way too expensive for us to buy another collar right now with Christmas coming up, this collar is only about six months old.

The system has done what it said it would do. I will not chain a dog up nor confine him in a small area, this is a great solution to a big problem. I feel protected, the dogs get to do their job and I don't have to worry about any theft problems.

I have this system with 4 collars total. So basically I have a small fortune wrapped up in it. Everything worked like a charm at first but now none of my collars work consistently. Only 1 of them work at all and thats only about 50% of the time. I am actually on the website today to buy yet another collar because my dog has run off again with the collar on with a brand new battery. Of course I am out of my 1 year warranty period. So I guess after sinking around $500 in this system, it's only guaranteed for a year. That's not a good product to me. They should be under warranty for way longer that that as expensive as they are. Also, 2 of the 4 collars stopped working within my warranty period and got replaced. So in all, 1 of 6 collars works, and that one doesn't even work well.I have come to the conclusion that these collars are NOT AT ALL WATERPROOF. DO NOT LET THE GET WET AT ALL! If I had not already sunk a boatload of money into this system, I would not be buying another collar and I'd be looking for a different system altogether with a longer warranty period. The only positive thing about this system is that it does work... but if you plan on owning your dog for more than a year I'd suggest spending your $200 elsewhere.

The system worked great at first. Both dogs quickly learned their boundaries and only needed a beep as a reminder after that. However, since then both collars have been malfunctioning. Both of my dogs have since figured out that the collars will only beep and not shock them at all. I've about gave up on even putting the collars on them. It's starting to be more hassle than it's worth. I wish the product was higher quality and built to last, especially for the price.

These receiver collars have multiple levels of correction to choose from, and are often factory-set to level 1: warning tone only. To increase the level of correction, remove the clear plastic cap covering the button on your receiver. Press and release the black button and allow the red light on the collar to flash. The light will flash to indicate what level of correction your collar is set to. Once the flashing stops, press and release the button again to increase the level of correction. I've had the wireless containment system for less than in year. In that time i've replaced the batteries in the collar 3 times, and now the collar isn't working at all. With a brand new battery i have no LED light on the collar. We have a rescue who is very sneaky and this is the only way we can contain her in the yard. For the high price the product should last much longer. And to buy a replacement collar is ridiculously expensive, especially if it won't last!

We have had the in-ground fence for 13yrs and the only problem we have had is when the wire gets broken by deer. We are on 6 acres and the wire is tied to the existing non-dog-proof fence and underground in some areas and also under the asphalt driveway, Yes, it was a pain to put in, but still done in one day and the dog does not run through after training Love this product..

We bought this for a wandering rescue dog we adopted. She had been a hunting dog and if she saw a bird or anything in the yard off she'd go - to the street or to harass our distant neighbors goats. We invested in the wireless fence collar and transmitter and within days she learned her perimiter and after a couple months we rarely ever put the collar on unless a new dog is visiting. She knows her boundaries and even without the collar reminding her she stays close to home and has a lot more freedom than she did when we'd have to tire her out or put her in a pen. We just trained my parents Golden Lab puppy while they were on vacation and they were thrilled to see that she really does stay in the yard! They live on 4 acres in a large house so we put one transmitter at each end of the house so their dog has two big circles to play in. It really gave that puppy a much better quality of life to not have to be tied up or in its dog run most of the day. Great Product I highly recommend!!!! I can't think of a more economical way to ensure you dogs are home safe!

I like the idea of the wireless fence, however, it does not work. The collar only works a fifth of the time. One out of five times will the collar work. I have been working for weeks to get it to work, but it won't. I am really upset because this was a big investment and I am back to square one on an option for containment of my dog. I wish the product was reliable, but it is a big waste of time. Do not get it if you don't want to be frustrated with it working!

To get the most out of your wireless system, we do recommend to position your transmitter at least 3 feet away from any major appliance or large metal objects to prevent signal interference. Because the way the system operates, the signal will work best in a flat, level yard. A yard with hills can cause the pet area to appear smaller or larger than expected. Bought the wireless system in September 2012.

Worked great -- but had to replace the unit in June of 2013. Thankfully it was covered under their warranty and they sent me a "stay and play."

Then, in March 2014 the collar went out. So 9 months of use on the unit before it was replaced, and 18 months of use on the collar.

It's a great product when it works. I'm just not sure these products hold up for the long term.

In any case, I'll keep buying them because they literally save the life of my dog, daily.

I love this product, my dog responds very well to it. If not for the following issue I would have rated it a 5. The only draw back is the audio (whistle) quits working after about 15 months (13 months on one, 15 another, 16 on 3rd). It is getting very expensive replacing these as there is no audible warning for the dog, just a shock if I don't replace.

We purchased our wireless system 10 years ago, when our lab mix "Buddy" was just a puppy. We followed the training video to the letter and were amazed at how quickly Buddy learned to stay in the yard and away from the boundary line! No matter what distraction appeared beyond the perimeter, Buddy always stayed in the yard. In June, we adopted another dog. "Apollo" is a 2 year old shar-pei mix with a ton of energy! He has been a hard learner and has left the yard on a couple of occasions to chase other dogs. I just ordered a "stubborn dog" collar for him and will retrain, hoping for the same success we had with Buddy!

We love this product. But have adopted another rescue pet. We live in a subdivision and need the structure of this product. I am soooo disappointed of your price to just add another collar to our unit! Seriously guys..

I have 1 German Shepherd and another that is German Shepherd collie mix,and i live in the country and on a water front property,this was my first pet safe system .I love the whole unit,I can keep my dogs away from the water front during winter months,and from my neighbors also,its amazing ,my dogs hear their collar beep and they get back automatically and when their collar is off especially(German Shepherd)she know where to stop in yard,I would recommend this to any dog owner,as I have shown a lot of friends and some of them have purchased unit,peace of mind as my shepherd is a big girl, and she thinks she owns the whole road! Great product!
