This is the best toy I have found for my destructo dog! I have an 85lb lab and she is a toy shredder. I found this and it has lasted over 6 months so far, and expect it to last for a really long time. I fill this with dog food and beggin strips (torn up) she waits impatiently, as soon as I give it to her she flips this thing around for a good half an hour! By the time its empty and covered completely in drool she's out for the night. It's a GREAT toy, especially in the winter when it's too cold to throw the frisbee for an hour. Just bought the busy barnacle for a switch up :)

I purchased one of these MANY years ago. Somehow over the years and different dogs it got lost. My Jack Russell pup has been digging a hole for two days and this morning he dug up Squirrel Dude! He's as good as new(a little dirty) and my pup LOVES him. Thanks for your quality products!

We have a Brittney Spaniel and she chews up just about everything but the kitchen sink. I ordered a Squirrel Dude (recommendation from the person I spoke with from the company) and it is great. I put treats inside it and it keeps her busy for quite a long time and it is still in one piece! Yippee! I LOVE IT! ......no .....she loves it! :) Very durable product.

This product is on my all-time best products for dogs. Great for positive reinforcement, great for dogs needing a diversion. Durable!

Vastly superior in design and function versus a better-known competitor with a 4-letter brand name. Why? The rubber prongs hold treats inside and force the dog to work for them - no need to freeze or stuff huge treats inside to hold them in place. I use kibble plus a few small biscuits (which helps keep the kibble inside longer). Kibble drops out a little easier, which gives the dog positive reinforcement for the behavior, especially good for puppies.

I purchased my first Squirrel Dude in ~2004(?). The Dude has been a great engager for several different large breed adult dogs and a puppy. I took one to a friend in Peru with an aggressively chewing German Shepherd who had eaten some of her home's drywall - this worked. I gave one to a friend for her dog which had separation anxiety - since she only gets the Dude when she's left alone, she sees it as real treat, is so happy to see my friend leave the house, and nothing has been destroyed in the house since.

It won't work for every dog - I gave a large Dude to my brother's aggressive chewer Beagle who promptly chewed off the rubber tabs within an hour. The toy does have a good probability of working for many dogs. Play around with the size and type of food options you offer to get best results for your dog.

Thanks for a great product, I'm a fan!
