Keeps my dog busy, I use as her feeding bowl and she rolls it around until all the food is gone.

Great idea, very poor result.

The "rubber" which is around, is more like a slightly soft plastic. Very little rubber, and it makes way more sound than if you were to make one yourself out of rubber bands, or of some other rubber tubing. Very disappointed in this.

Another problem is the poor plastic quality with the two halfes. This will most likely crack at some point. The toy has been in use for 2 days, and it already is coming apart at the middle after 7 minutes of play.

Had very high expectations for this product and it was a major disappointment. only good thing is that since it comes apart after such a short time i can put a pigs ear in it, and let the dog work for a mere 7 minutes to get it.... The barnacle buddy is a much much better option than this toy. Id recommend purchasing that toy over this one.

Great toy for long hours of play. I mix my treats some small easy to get out and some larger sized to make it more difficult to get out.

I also like to put a tennis ball inside to add to the difficulty.

Making a dog play/think for his treats is hours of down time.

This toy needs frequent Washing after every meal if all treats are earned or when the dog is finished playing with it for the day. Not much different than a dinner dish. Allow the toy to completely dry before next use.

This might be a great introductory toy for dogs not used to working for food or treats. My dog loves this thing, but I think the openings are a little too big. He doesn't have to work very hard to get things out. The fun is over too quickly!

I have 3 pits. youngest loved this toy and even hollered at the older one who was trying to chew it. she always thought they were gonna wreck it or do it wrong so she rolled it while they stood back. I just put their food in it. she ate the food in here more than in her bowl. it helps the fast eaters slow down and not get sick. however she rolls it quite aggressively and it popped open one night and the dog #2 chewed the grooves that hold it together. but daddy the machinist fixed it in his shop. YEAH! we have hard time keeping toys. they usually don't last long at all 10 min tops. but this one did last long time. YEAR! the mushroom version of this toy has lasted even longer! its been over a year and it still works great!

my kibble's dust and dog's slobber has combined to create a cement that defies all my attempts to un screw this toy's halves. I have to dribble the food into the dispensing hole and that takes just about the same amount of time as it does for my dog to get it out!

The folks at the pet store suggested this toy to keep our Carolina Dingo busy. Their pit bulls haven't torn theirs up, so we purchased one for our dog.

Our dog enjoyed the treat toy from the first time we filled it up, but it only took her one week to figure out how to untwist the toy and get the treats out the easy way. It's been three weeks, and she still enjoys the Busy Buddy. However, we are now stuck trying to figure out how to slow her down. Maybe a gasket molded into the ring that can not be pulled out by a determined dog would fix the problem. We are also considering just super-gluing the parts together.

Our Carolina Dingo is a very determined problem solver, and strong. The ball is large enough that she can't get her mouth totally around the ball, but has enough gripping points for her to carry it around the apartment. The hard plastic seems to be chew proof, but less so the plastic around the ball.

We highly recommend the Busy Buddy.
