This product does not fit a door 2 inches thick. , 4/16/13

The two sides, when put together, are only about 3/4 of an inch thick. If you have a door 2 inches thick, the inside of your door is going to be exposed. It should be stated on the outside of the package how thick of a door it can be attached too without seeing the inside of the door. And the two pieces do not link together. one side screws to the door and the other side just sticks on with sticky tabs. No screws.
