Works for us, 12/4/14

We have two Scotties and two of these kennels. We've watched the dogs grab and pull on the sides trying to tear it. One dog chewed the aluminum ties. That said, show me a kennel that a dog who wants out will not grab and shake? It someone wants one that is totally chew proof they need to buy one that is welded bars. For what these cost - we got both ours at Petsmart, they were a bargain. Also, if the dog does destroy it, they are a standard height of 72" so someone could buy new fencing and redo it. However the cost of the fencing at Lowes is more expensive than the whole kennel - once again showing what a bargain they are, The only thing we did not like is the packaging. The boxes are too lightweight for what is in them.

Bought my kennel 2 yrs ago first week mt Dog was able to chew through the galvanized wire . And iT has rusted to the point That the support beams to the bottom and sides have broken in two. I spent lots of money for something made of poor quality

PETSAFE RESPONSE: We are sorry to hear of the trouble you have experienced with your kennel and we understand how disappointing it can be to have a damaged product! Please note that is it important to introduce your dog gradually to the kennel. It is recommended to allow him to acclimate slowly. This will help with any anxiety your pet may have which can help prevent damage they cause to the kennel. This kennel does have rust resistant parts, but it is recommended that all kennels be installed in an area that has a gentle slope so any rain can drain away quickly. For more information, please contact our Customer Care Center at 1-800-732-2677.

Our 40 pound English springer spaniel was able to chew through the "chain link" and get out. After patching the 1st hole, he made a new one. Need heavier gauge. Will have to circle the kennel with new fencing.

I bought it 3 year ago it's galvanized but its already rusted on the bottom. Very disappointed since it should be rust free makes it feel like I spend my money for a kennel that should last longer than 3 years.

Not very strong, 6/6/13

I have a small St Bernard (100lbs) and she is constantly breaking through the bottom of the chain link. We put the metal ties every 6" and she broke those and mangled the chain link. We straightened out all the chain link and looped it back together and added more metal ties and heavy duty snap ties (1/2") and she is still managing to break it. Since many people have labs and shepards, etc that can get a lot bigger than her than our dog I'd say buyer beware. It may not hold a bigger dog in for long. I trim her claws every few weeks and she eats in there but is always determined to try to break out :( Very disappointed in this product. It seems only suitable for very small dogs.
